Review: Dialogue Perspectives at the 102nd Katholikentag!

DialoguePerspectives at the 102nd Katholikentag!

On Thursday, 26.05.2022, three former programme participants, Marie-Rachel Garal, Felix Leininger, and Hermann Körner, as well as our religious-worldview adviser Nour al-Huda Schröter, came together in Stuttgart to report on their experiences in interreligious-worldview dialogue at DialoguePerspectives. The panel entitled ‘New paths in interreligious-worldview dialogue’ was moderated by project manager Iman Al Nassre, saw the panellists exchange views with the audience on various questions: What does dialogue require in a pluralistic society? How can you practice solidarity in difference? How can conflicts be dealt with constructively? Representatives of Coexister Germany also took part in the discussion – a great opportunity for exchange and networking!

We would like to thank the audience for the lively discussion and the organisers of the Katholikentag for their warm invitation.

As an academic studying religious pluralism, I experienced a very warm and welcoming environment in the DialoguePerspectives programme. I learned a great deal from open-minded people from so many diverse backgrounds. DialoguePerspectives is truly pluralism in practice!
