We are delighted to release the second episode of our new “DialoguePerspectives | Podcast” today!
In our series “(Re-)Shaping Europe”, our participant İrem Çörekçi outlines the conflicts surrounding Turkey’s withdrawal from the İstanbul Convention on the comprehensive protection of women against all forms of violence. She deconstructs the narrative of a “Western” agreement imposed on Turkey by Europe and sheds light on the long struggle of feminist organizations in the country since the founding of the Turkish Republic in 1923.
The piece is part of our blog-series “This Is Us – Insights from our Participants”, initiated in November 2020. You can listen to the podcast via Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Buzzsprout. We look forward to your feedback!

˝Some wise person once wrote “The whole entire world is a very narrow bridge and the main thing is to have no fear at all.” I feel that thanks to DialoguePerspectives the world is becoming a network of interconnected bridges that we are building between each other together. Beautiful bridges thanks to which we can try to create a world together, a world free from prejudices and fear.
