In the media: DEUTSCHLANDFUNK INTRODUCES KAROV-QAREEB

Carsten Dippel introduced Karov-Qareeb and the think tank’s first published book, ‘Und endlich konnten wir reden … Eine Handreichung zu jüdisch-muslimischem Dialog in der Praxis’ / ‘And we could finally talk … A guide to Jewish-Christian dialogue in practice’ (Herder Verlag), on Deutschlandfunk’s ‘Tag für Tag’ programme. Entitled ‘Bitte kein Begegnungskitsch’ (Please, no encounter kitsch), Dippel touched upon the various topics contained within the publication and speaks to project leader Jo Frank, project coordinator Rachel de Boorm and sociologist and participant Sonya Ouertani about Karov-Qareeb’s objectives and ways of working. Here is the link to listen to the contribution (in German).

˝DialoguePerspectives offers a unique change of perspective! The programme allows you to really grapple with current and highly societally relevant questions, to reflect on your own identity, and to get to know the diversity of European identities. I am very grateful for the intensive personal discussion and encounters, and the great amount of food for thought that has stuck with me long past the seminars.
