Terry Reintke

Terry Reintke ist stellvertretende Vorsitzende der Fraktion Grüne/EFA im Europäischen Parlament und Koordinatorin der Fraktion im Ausschuss für bürgerliche Freiheiten, Justiz und Inneres (LIBE). Sie ist Co-Präsidentin der LGBTI Intergroup und Gründerin der EU-UK Friendship Group im Europäischen Parlament. Terry Reintke studierte Politikwissenschaft in Berlin und Edinburgh. Sie war Sprecherin der Vereinigung Junger Europäischer Grüner (FYEG), bevor sie 2014 ins Europäische Parlament gewählt wurde. Terry Reintke wurde in der Berichterstattung des TIME Magazine zur Person des Jahres 2017 im Rahmen der „Silence Breakers“ vorgestellt, die sich gegen sexuellen Missbrauch und Belästigung aussprachen.

Terry Reintke is the deputy chairwoman of The Greens-European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament and coordinator of the parliamentary group in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. She is the co-president of the LGBTI Intergroup and founder of the EU-UK Friendship Group in the European Parliament. Terry Reintke studied political science in Berlin and Edinburgh. She was the spokesperson of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG) before being elected to the European Parliament in 2014. Terry Reintke was selected as a TIME Magazine Person of the Year for her role as a “Silence Breaker” who has spoken out against sexual abuse and harassment.
